Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before purchasing or downloading CleanerDesk. By purchasing, downloading, or using CleanerDesk, you agree to be bound by these Terms between you (“Customer” or “Licensee”) and Ravi Kumar trading under the brand Ravi Kumar AI, located in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India (“Licensor”).

1. Product Nature & Scope

CleanerDesk is a downloadable, commercial business operations software application designed for residential cleaning businesses. It operates locally on desktop and laptop computers (macOS and Windows) as a standalone local-first application. CleanerDesk is not a monthly cloud SaaS platform, not a mobile app, and not an accounting advisory service.

2. Pricing & Payment

CleanerDesk is offered as a one-time purchase at the applicable purchase price displayed and confirmed during checkout (progressive launch tiers from $49 to $99 USD). There are no mandatory monthly software subscription fees for the purchased software version. Payment will be processed via authorized secure payment processors once online checkout is active. You agree to provide valid, authorized payment credentials.

3. Grant of Single-Business Lifetime Commercial License

Subject to full payment and compliance with these Terms, Licensor grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to install and operate CleanerDesk for the internal business operations of one (1) residential cleaning business entity.

CleanerDesk is local-first and does not require a continuous internet connection. Initial activation and occasional brief internet access are required to verify that the software license remains valid. Between successful verification periods, CleanerDesk can continue operating offline. The lifetime license means no recurring software subscription is required for the purchased entitled version; it does not eliminate periodic license verification.

One purchase includes both macOS and Windows rights for up to four active computers used by the same licensed cleaning business. macOS and Windows installations may remain active simultaneously in any combination within that four-device allowance. If all four activation slots are in use, deactivate an old computer before activating a replacement.

Permitted Uses:

  • Calculating and generating cleaning quotes and estimates for your business clients.
  • Managing customer property access notes, job schedules, and work orders.
  • Generating printable invoices and recording payment receipts.
  • Customizing application business settings, wage assumptions, and pricing formulas.

Prohibited Uses:

  • Reselling, sublicensing, leasing, renting, or redistributing the software package or source code.
  • Hosting CleanerDesk as a public or multi-tenant Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform for third-party cleaning businesses.
  • Removing or altering proprietary notices, licenses, or creator attributions.
  • Reverse engineering or creating derivative downloadable products to compete directly with CleanerDesk.

4. Customer Data & Backup Responsibilities

Because CleanerDesk is a local-first application, all data you enter is stored directly on your personal computer. Licensor has no access to your customer records. You are solely responsible for maintaining frequent external backups of your data using the built-in .cqbackup export tool.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

CleanerDesk is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. Licensor expressly disclaims all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

No Accounting or Tax Guarantee: CleanerDesk is an operational business workflow tool. It does not provide certified accounting, bookkeeping, or tax advice. You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of all prices, labor hours, tax calculations, and invoices issued to your clients.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Ravi Kumar or Ravi Kumar AI be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption, or loss of goodwill. In all cases, Licensor's total aggregate liability arising from or relating to this agreement shall not exceed the actual purchase amount paid by Customer.

7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, without prejudice to mandatory statutory consumer dispute protections in the buyer's home jurisdiction.
